 Ecosystem restoration means assisting in the recovery of ecosystems that have been degraded or destroyed, as well as conserving the ecosystems that are still intact. Healthier ecosystems, with richer biodiversity, yield greater benefits such as more fertile soils, bigger yields of timber and fish, and larger stores of greenhouse gases. Restoration can happen in many ways – for example through actively planting or by removing pressures so that nature can recover on its own. It is not always possible – or desirable – to return an ecosystem to its original state. We still need farmland and infrastructure on land that was once forest, for instance, and ecosystems, like societies, need to adapt to a changing climate. Between now and 2030, the restoration of 350 million hectares of degraded terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems could generate US$9 trillion in ecosystem services.  The Viva Vigan Festival of Arts is celebrated during the first week of the month of May. It was started in 1993 by the Save Vigan Ancestral Homes Association, Inc. (SVAHAI) to promote awareness of the value of the historic town, which was hoped to strengthen resolve to preserve and protect this heritage site. For the past sixteen years, the festival of arts has been successful in drumming up attention for Vigan’s ancestral houses. With the help of national and local agencies, as well as media, arts and non-governmental supporters, the festival has also succeeded in promoting other aspects of Vigan.  During this pandemic Online Class was implemented. This new way of learning is really difficult. As a student we have a lot of challenges that we can face in our everyday life. In our second quarter in ICT subject, I encountered some problems but still I did my best to overcome those challenges. So this quarter we concentrated on community-based research in the third quarter. However, we continue to publish blogs and leave comments on blogs. I learned a lot about our own community by focusing on community-based research. And I was given the opportunity to learn more about our community. I also discovered that community-based research can contribute significantly to our understanding of how local environments affect a population's health. Challenges and failures are necessary for learning. I had some troubles in ICT Subject throughout the third quarter, but I remained calm and tough and tried my best to overcome them.
